Mission Project

How can you help the youth attending SHYC? All are invited to join in collecting full-sized packaged food items for the SHYC mission project:

Oreo cookies

Chips Ahoy cookies

Tortilla chips

Lays chips

Doritos chips

Ruffles chips

Animal crackers

Ritz crackers

The youth will be making food bags for the homeless as a mission project at SHYC. Drop off your items in the collection boxes labeled SHYC near the elevators in the main building and in Fellowship Hall.

What is SHYC?

Each year, Senior High Youth Connection (SHYC) gathers all the high school youth of the presbytery (grades 9–12) for a weekend of growth and learning.

We will be spending the weekend with over 300 of our Presbyterian friends listening to keynotes, talking in small groups, playing games, singing songs, participating in a service project, and a variety show, ending with worship on Sunday.
